NMS is a Danish-owned company within NMS Holding and employs about 130 employees. Founded in 1998 as Zimmer Scandinavia, it took its present name in the summer of 2004. NMS is one of the leading sales and distribution companies of medical devices to public and private hospitals and surgical clinics.
NMS has its main office in Copenhagen, Denmark and subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia/Baltic and UK/Ireland. NMS is also represented in Iceland.
NMS supplies capital goods, orthopaedic implants, endoscopic and laparoscopic equipment for operating rooms at public and private hospitals and surgical clinics. Since 2007 NMS has been supplier of dental implants from Zimmer Dental.
As a market-leading supplier, NMS acts as partner in several research and development projects. Thus, NMS takes an active role in the continuing education and training within the health sector.
